4. System Maintenance
The Main firmware update has been completed and the Network firmware is being updated: The
[Power] button and the lamp indicators light up.

When the update process fails, the [Power] button flashes blue and the lamp and temperature
indicators flash red.
6. Check that the firmware is updated to the most recent version via the service status
window.

Updating the Firmware Using a Computer (PJ WX4152)

You can update the main board firmware by using the tool with a computer.
Before you begin firmware update, the SiLabs driver software must be installed on your computer.
• You need the following tools when updating the firmware of the customer's projector.
• Ricoh Projector FW Update Tool (File name: ProjectorUpdateTool)
• Driver software
• Firmware to update
• USB cable (USB A / mini-B) to connect the projector and PC.
• Check the firmware release information how to get the most recent firmware.
1. Install the driver to a computer.
Double-click the CP210xVCPInstaller.exe icon and click the [Install] button. A COM port is created
during this step.
2. Check the power cord of the projector is disconnected.
