Configuring the switch using EDM
Procedure
1. In the navigation tree, click Edit.
2. In the Edit tree, click Chassis.
3. In the Chassis tree, click Chassis.
4. In the work area, select the Custom Banner tab.
5. To select a switch for which to customize the banner, click a row.
6. In the row, double-click the cell in the Line column.
7. Type a character string for the banner.
8. On the toolbar, click Apply.

Configuring AUR

Use this procedure to enable or disable AUR on the switch.
Procedure
1. In the navigation tree, click Edit.
2. In the Edit tree, click Chassis.
3. In the Chassis tree, click Chassis.
4. In the work area, select the AUR tab.
5. To enable Auto Unit Replacement, select the AutoUnitReplacementEnabled check box.
6. To enable Auto Unit Replacement saving, select the AutoUnitReplacementSaveEnabled
check box.
7. Enter a value for forced saves in the AutoUnitReplacementForceSaves field.
8. Enter a value for AUR restore in the AutoUnitReplacementRestore field.
9. Click Apply.

Indicates whether the banner type is for a standalone
(switch ) or a stack (stack). Stack is not available for
Release 5.0
Indicates the line of text within a custom banner.
Specifies the banner character string. The custom
banner is 19 lines high and can be up to 80
characters long.
