REFITTING

1. Refit the protective gaiter on the wheel
side and fit the constant velocity joint, ap-
plying appropriate pressure.
It is advisable to replace the protective
gaiters whenever they are removed, and
it is important to fill both constant ve-
locity joint and gaiter with
MRM2 grease.
When refitting, the constant velocity joints must
be coupled to the shaft as shown in the table.
Category B joints are coupled with both cate-
gories of drive shaft; conduct a further check on
the joint to make sure there are no signs of
seizure or scoring.
2. Refit the protective gaiter on the gearbox
side, fit the tripod joint securing it with the
circlip, and then fit the joint on the gear-
box side and secure the gaiter with its
clips.
It is advisable to replace the protective
gaiters whenever they are removed, and
it is important
gaiter with TUTELA MRM2
