COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (0.280.130.026)
The coolant termperature sensor (B) consists of a variable N.T.C. resistance. It is fitted on the thermostat
case and works in a similar way to the intake air temperature sensor.
Terminal 8 of ECU (A) supplies sensor (B). The circuit is earthed through the sensor terminal to terminal
11 of the E C U .

Checking resistance
The graph in the figure shows the sensor resis-
tance curve, which may be measured by dis-
connecting the connector and connecting an
ohmmeter to the sensor terminals.
Removing - ref itti ng
Disconnct the electrical connection and re-
move the sensor.
Tightening torque 2.4 daNm.
