10 Troubleshooting
Corrective measures
• Ensure that the Sunny Island is
functional. For this, clean the fans
and restart the Sunny Island (see
Section 11.7, page 95).
• Ensure that there are no short
circuits in the system and that the
power of the loads is not greater
than the power of the Sunny Island
inverter.
• Use a star delta electronic circuit to
start three-phase loads with a high
start-up electricity demand (e.g.,
engines).
• Connect the loads with very high
power directly to the generator
whenever possible. Ensure that the
generator is not overloaded.
• Ensure that the Sunny Island is
functional. For this, disconnect all
AC sources and loads from the
Sunny Island and restart the
Sunny Island.
• Find the cause of the overvoltage
through measurement and step-by-
step connection of the AC sources
and loads.
• Ensure that the Sunny Island is
functional. For this, disconnect all
AC sources and loads from the
Sunny Island and restart the
Sunny Island.
• Find the cause of the overfrequency
through measurement and step-by-
step connection of the AC sources
and loads.
