Use a paint stick or what was used to set the gap of the trunk to draw a line on the body where the edge of the

trunk will be.

With the pin location compared to the trunk edge known and the trunk edge marked on the body along with the

lowest mount point of the pin cover marked, the locations should match up. The latch cover may need to be

trimmed slightly to go onto the radius of the body.
