• Tighten the idler shaft bearing retainer with two
screws.
• Apply thread lock "1361A" to the screws.

• Tighten the countershaft bearing retainer with
three screws.
• Apply thread lock "1363C" to these screws.

• Install the gearshift shaft, with the center of the
gear on shaft side aligned with the center of gear-
shift cam driven gear.
• Install a new 0-ring to the oil pump and install
the oil pump to the crankcase.
Oil pump bolt
tightening torque
7-9 N·m
(0. 7 - 0.9 kg-m)
(5.0- 6.5 lb-ft)
