4·19 SHAFT DRIVE
• Install a new oil seal by using the special tool.

• Coat Lithium Base Molybdenum Grease (NLGI
#2) to the propeller shaft splines and contacting
surface of cam dog.
• Coat the lip of oil seal with grease.

SUZUKI super grease "A"
• Before installing the two stoppers, pour about
90 ml (3.0/3.2 US/Imp oz) of hypoid gear oil
into the cover.
NOTE:
After reassembling the propeller shaft, the
following service procedures are necessary.

Apply BOND No. 12078 to mating surface
of swingarm and final gear case.
