3-17 ENGINE SERVICING
• Remove washer, clutch hub, and the remaining
plates.
• Remove the primary driven gear assembly, spa-
cer, bearing and washer.
• Remove the water pump drive chain tensioner.
• Hold the idler sprocket with special tool and
remove the water pump drive sprocket bolt by
turning the bolt clockwise.

CAUTION:
This bolt has left-hand thread. When turning
it counter-clockwise, it may cause damage.
• Remove water pump driven sprocket E-ring, and
remove water pump drive and driven sprockets
with drive chain.
