10-5 SERVICING INFORMATION
RADIATOR
Complaint Symptom and possible causes Remedy
Engine overheats. 1. Not enough cooling water. Add coolant.

Radiator core is clogged with dirt or trashes. Clean.
3. Erratic thermostat, stuck in closed position.
Replace.
4. Faulty cooling fan.
Repair or replace.
5. Defective thermo-switch. Replace.
6. Clogged water passage. Clean.
7. Air trapped in the cooling circuit.
Bleed out air.
8. Defective water pump/pump drive chain. Replace.
9. Use incorrect cooling water. Replace.
