Management Port Connector Pinout Information for an MX150

The following Juniper Networks USB flash drives have been tested and are officially
supported for the USB port in the MX150:
RE-USB-1G-S—1-gigabyte (GB) USB flash drive
RE-USB-2G-S—2-GB USB flash drive
RE-USB-4G-S—4-GB USB flash drive
CAUTION:
Any USB memory product not listed as supported for the MX150
has not been tested by Juniper Networks. The use of any unsupported USB
memory product could expose your device to unpredictable behavior. Juniper
Networks Technical Assistance Center (JTAC) can provide only limited
support for issues related to unsupported hardware. We strongly recommend
that you use only supported USB flash drives.
CAUTION:
Remove the USB flash drive before upgrading Junos OS or
rebooting the MX150. Failure to do so could expose your device to
unpredictable behavior.
NOTE:
Executing the
requires an external USB flash drive with at least 4 GB of free space. We
recommend using the RE-USB-4G-S flash drive.
NOTE:
USB flash drives used with the MX150 must support USB 2.0 or later.

The 1000BASE-T RJ-45 management port on an MX150 uses an RJ-45 connector to
connect to a management device for out-of-band management.
Table 18 on page 34
provides the pinout information of the RJ-45 management port
connector.
