A major alarm (red) indicates a critical error condition that requires immediate action.
A minor alarm (amber) indicates a noncritical condition that requires monitoring or
maintenance. A minor alarm left unchecked might cause interruption in service or
performance degradation.
All three LEDs can be lit simultaneously.

Each network port and uplink port on the front panel of an MX150 has two LEDs that
indicate link activity and port status (see

State and Description
There is no alarm or the device is halted.
There is a major alarm.
There is a minor alarm.
On steadily—Junos OS has been loaded on the device.
Blinking—The device is booting.
Off—The device is powered off or is halted.
On steadily—The device is functioning normally.
Off—The device is powered off or is halted.
This LED is not used. So, the status of this LED is off.
