MEASURING THE ENGINE OIL PRESSURE
3. Remove:
S main gallery bolt 1
WARNING
The engine, muffler and engine oil are ex-
tremely hot.
4. Install:
S oil pressure gauge 1
S adapter 2
Oil pressure gauge

Adapter
90890-03124
5. Measure:
S engine oil pressure
(at the following conditions)
Engine oil pressure
250 X 350 kPa
(2.5 X 3.5 kg/cm
2.5 X 3.5 bar)
Engine speed
Approx. 5,000 r/min
Engine oil temperature
100_C
Out of specification ! Adjust.
Engine oil pressure
Below specification
Above specification
6. Install:
S main gallery bolt
