Configuring AppleTalk Protocol Settings

From the Network Setting menu, press
the AppleTalk Setting screen.

Note: Currently, the controller supports EtherTalk access
only; TokenTalk is not supported.

By default, Macintosh printing is enabled. If it has been
disabled, press
ENABLE

Press
APPLETALK NAME

Enter the AppleTalk name. The name is the same as the
Microsoft Computer Name (device name).
By default, the device name is GL<MAC Address>, where
MAC Address is the media access control number of the NIC
installed in the controller. For example,
You can specify a different name of up to 15 alphanumeric
characters, provided it is unique within your network.

Press
DESIRED ZONE

Enter the AppleTalk Zone, which is "*" by default. This
indicates the local zone, although you can specify a different
name of up to 15 alphanumeric characters.

Press
to save your changes.
