SETTING UP UNIX PRINTING

GL-1020 Administrator's Guide

This chapter describes how to set up UNIX printing services for the

GL-1020 controller. Currently, the following UNIX platforms are

SPARC platform running Solaris 2.5.x, 2.6 or 7.0

PA-RISC platform running HP-UX 10.20 and 11.0

RS6000 platform running IBM AIX 4.3.x and 4.1.5

Linux platform running Red Hat Linux 6.2 and 7.x, SuSE

Linux 7.0 and Mandrake Linux 7.1

Additionally, this chapter includes brief guidelines for creating,

deleting, and modifying UNIX print queues.
