Setting the Default Date and Time Formats

Log in to the system as the administrator.

Click the
Preferences
The Preferences window opens.

Click the Date Format drop-down menu and select the date
format.
Your choices are:
MM/DD/YY
MM/DD/YYYY
DD/MM/YY
DD/MM/YYYY
YY/MM/DD
YYYY/MM/DD
where:
"DD" indicates the day,
"MM" indicates the month,
"YY" indicates the last two digits of the current year, and
"YYYY" indicates the full four-digit year.

Click the Time Format drop-down menu and select the time
format.
Your choices are:
HH:mm:ss
HH:mm:ss tt
Where:
"HH" indicates the hour,
"mm" indicates minutes,
"ss" indicates seconds, and
"tt" indicates twenty-four hour format.
