Rear Door Latch Replacement
NOTE: Put on gloves to protect your hands.
1. Raise the glass fully.
2. Remove these items:
• Door panel (see page 20-17)
• Plastic cover, as necessary (see page 20-4)
• Outer handle (see page 20-19)
3. Disconnect the connectors (A) and actuator rod (B),
then remove the power door lock actuator (C).
4. Disconnect the lock rod (A) from the lock crank (B).
5. Move the latch (A) until you can disconnect each
rod, and disconnect the inner handle rod (B), lock
rod (C) and actuator rod (D) from the latch.Take
care not to bend any of the rods.
