Ignition Switch
Replacement
SRS c o m p o n e n t s are located in this area. Review the
SRS c o m p o n e n t s locations, precautions, and
procedures in t h e SRS section before performing
repairs of service (see page 23-28).
1. Make sure y o u have the anti-theft code for the radio,
t h e n w r i t e d o w n the frequencies for the radio's
preset buttons.
2. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
3. Remove t h e steering c o l u m n covers (see page 17-
25).
4. Insert the ignition key, and t u r n it to " 0 " .
5. Remove the 3 screws (A), and replace the electrical
switch (B).
6. Install the switch in the reverse order of r e m o v a l .
7. After reconnecting the battery, enter the anti-theft
code for the radio, then enter the customer's radio
station presets.
