Replacement & Assembling

The Sensor (3) is to be replaced. Make sure that the claws (4) of the Sensor are properly hooked.

Fix the Pump Sensor Holder by the two Screws (2) with tightening torque 1.5 N·m.

Connect the Connector (1).
Reconfirmation
1.
Turn ON the printer.
2.
Select [ Maintenance Unit ] in the Advanced Menu. (Refer to "3-1-3. How to go to Advanced Menu" and
"3-1-5-4. Input Check".)
3.
Confirm that the display shows ON/OFF by turning the Pump Rotor Gear.
(There is a hole in the circumferential of the Pump Rotor Gear; the sensor is ON at the hole.)
4.
Turn OFF the printer after the initial operation is confirmed.
5.
Attach the Covers. (Refer to "6-1-2. Assembling/Disassembling of the Covers".)
