The inverter has detected a DC link high voltage condition.
Error occurs when the DC link capacitor voltage is greater than 480VDC.
If condition is detected, outdoor unit will stop (compressor and fan) – mod­
erate condition.
Anti-short cycle timer is initiated.

If condition occurs 10 times within an hour, system will lockout – critical
condition.
Inverter LEDs will blink code 28.
Refer to the unit service documentation for detailed troubleshooting proce­
dures.
Compressor phase current is too high.
Error occurs when compressor peak phase current is greater than 28A.
Inverter will issue code 14 first and slow down to try to reduce the current.
If the current remains high, outdoor unit will stop (compressor and fan) –
moderate condition.
OD Inverter Compressor
Anti­short cycle timer is initiated.
Overcurrent
If condition occurs five times within an hour, system will lockout – critical
condition.
Inverter LEDs will blink code 29.
Refer to the unit service documentation for detailed troubleshooting proce­
dures.
Outdoor control has lost communications with the inverter for greater than
three minutes.
Outdoor control has lost communications with the inverter for greater than
three minutes.
Outdoor control will stop all compressor demands – moderate condition.
Recycle power to the inverter by de-energizing the contactor for two min­
utes.

If this occurs three times in one thermostat call, the outdoor unit will lock out
and display alert code 434 – critical condition.
Check for loose or disconnected electrical connections.
Interruption of main power to inverter.
Inverter LEDs will blink code 53.

dures.
Inverter internal error.
When this error occurs, the outdoor control will cycle power to the inverter
by opening the contactor for two minutes – moderate condition.
