The furnace flame current is low.
Check micro-amperes of the flame sensor using thermostat diagnostics.
Clean or replace the flame sensor.
Low Flame Current - Run
Mode
Measure voltage of neutral to ground to ensure good unit ground.
Clean face of burner assembly.
Check for AC voltage from flame sensor electrode to ground.
The furnace flame is going out while the furnace is heating.
Shut off gas.
Flame Out of Sequence -
Check for a gas valve leak.
Still Present
Replace the gas valve if needed.
Check for low flame signal.
The furnace primary limit switch is open.
If limit switch is not closed withing three minutes, the unit will go into a 60
minute soft lockout (WatchGuard mode).
Check for high gas pressure.
Low supply air due to plugged or restriction in system (example: dirty air

Check flame sensor current.
Check for dirty filters.
Check for blocked CEHB or condensate drain and cracked hoses.
