1. Check:
• rear wheel drive hub
• rear wheel drive hub dampers

1. Check:
• rear wheel sprocket
b Correct
1 Drive chain roller
2 Rear wheel sprocket
2. Replace:
• rear wheel sprocket

a. Straighten the lock washer tabs.
b. Remove the bolts, lock washers 1 and the

c. Clean the rear wheel drive hub with a clean
d. Install the new rear wheel sprocket and new

Tighten the bolts in stages and in a crisscross
pattern.
e. Bend the lock washer tabs along a flat side

Cracks/damage → Replace.
Damage/wear → Replace.
More than 1/4 tooth a wear → Replace the
rear wheel sprocket.
Bent teeth → Replace the rear wheel
sprocket.
