REMOVING THE CRANKSHAFT AND

BALANCER
1. Remove:
• balancer 1
NOTE:
Align the punch mark a on the balancer driven
a
gear with the punch mark b on the balancer
drive gear, and then remove the balancer
shaft.
2. Remove:
• crankshaft 1
NOTE:
_
• Remove the crankshaft with the crankcase
separating tool 2.
• Make sure the crankcase separating tool is
centered over the crankshaft.
