Bellows
• Fi xed Low, Fi xed Mediulll, Fi xed High
These three fixed curves use the same velocity value,
no matter how hard or lightly you press the keys.
"Low" means that a low value is used, "Med" repre-
sents a medium val ue and "High" a high va lue.
• Low, Medium, High
The "Low" curve means that even relatively ligh t
presses already allow yo u to play loudnotes. The
"High" curve represents the most responsive velocity
curve. It requires a considerable amount of strength
for fortissimo notes, but it also provides more expres-
sive options. The "Med" curve is in the midd le.
• Fixed L+Bellow s, Fixed M+Bellows
Fi xed H+Bellows
These curves mean that the orchestral sound uses
fixed velocity val ues but can also be con trolied by
be llows movements.
• Bellows
"Bellows" means that th e Orchestra section 's expres-
sion is controlied by the bellows move me nts - not
the veloci ty val ues gen erated by the keys.
[NOTE]
The "Orchestra Touch" parameter is not used when the
"Bellows Curve" parameter is set to "Fixed L ow", "Medium"
or "High".
Orchestra Bass/Chord Touch
This parameter allows yo u to specify the

veloci ty sensi tivi ty (curve) of the bass
an d chord buttons, which are used to
play orchestral percussive sounds.

The available options are: Fixed Low, Fixed Medium,
Fixed High, Low, Medium , High, Fixed L + Bellows,
Fixed M + Bellows, Fixed H+ Bellows, Bellows. See
"Orchestra Touch" on p. 47 for details about these set-
tings.
[NOTE]
The "Orchestra Bass/Chorcl Touch" parameter is no t used
when the "Bellows Curve" parameter is set to "Fixed Low",
"Medium" or "High".
Bellows Curve
This parameter allows you to specify •
how the FR -3x should respond to the
bellows' movements. Use it to adapt the
FR-3x's expressive potential to your playing st yle.

• X Light, Light
"Light" means that you do not need to push/pull hard
to achieve ameaningful effect. The "X- Lig ht" req uires
even less strength (the "X" stan ds for "extra ").
• Standard
The "Standard" curve refers to a normal response.
• Heavy and X Heavy
"Hea vy" provides a greater variety of nuances.
"X- Heavy" is even more detailed.
Stereo Width
Much care has been taken to provide a
natural stereo image for the accordion
sounds. If you think th e stereo image is

too wi de for comfort (or if yo u prefer to set the Pan
controls on yo ur mixing console differen tl y). yo u can
use this parameter to reduce the stereo image.

"Ful " (full) represents the wides t stereo image.
"nAt" (nat ural) means that the original stereo image is
used.
"-63 " corresponds to an extremely narrow stereo
image.
All othe r val ues represent slight (or increasingly drastic)
reductions of the stereo wid th.
