Bass and chord section
The Bass section can be played via the "StradelIa" but -

The bu ttons in this section allow you to play
both
bass
notes and chords. The "real" bass notes are assigned to
the two highligh ted rows. The remaining buttons are
used to play chords.
Th e FR - 3x is supp lied wi th severol reference caps (con-
cave and with lines) to hel p YO Li locate the bass an d
chord buttons witho Lit looking at them. At th e factory,
three caps are installed on the black buttons in the fol-
lowing iliListration. F eel free to remove them and to
slide th eIll over other buttons if that feels Illore COI11-
fortable.

orchestral sounds.
Seleeting accord ion sounds for the left hand
Here is how to selec t an accordion so und for the bass
an d chord section (Ieft hand). Accordion so unds for the
left hand can be selected LIsing the 7 registers shown
below.

Seleeting orehestrai sounds for the left hand
Here is how to selec t an orchestral sound for the left
hand. While th e bass and chord accordion sections
always use the sall1e accordion soun d, orchestral
sounds can be assigned to only the bass buttons, only
the chord buttons, or both (in wh ich case you can select
differen t orchestral sounds for the bass and chord
rows).

Switch on the FR-3x,
See "Swi tching the power on and off" on p. 21.
2.
Do one of the following:
• To se lect an orchestral sound for the bass rows,
si l11u ltaneously press the three bass registers labeled
"ORCH BASS",

If YOLI prefer to assign an accordion sOLind to the bass rows
(bass section) at th is stage, again sil11ultaneously press the
three bass registers labeled "ORCH BASS".
