Using the Test Zone Attribute

You may decide that a particular zone is misbehaving, but the tests available
do not show anything amiss. The Test zone attribute lets you program the
system to monitor a suspect zone for a period of 14 days. During that time
the system will not raise an alarm if the zone is violated while the system is
set. However, the system will log the event on any attached printer, and also
show on the keypad display the message "CALL ENGINEER" followed by
"SOAKFAIL" . Note that if the zone is not violated during the 14 day period
then the system removes the Test zone attribute.
To set the Test attribute use Menu 32 to make the suspect zone a Normal
Alarm, and set the Test zone attribute to 'Y' (enabled).
