Caution
Where cables enter directly through a metal enclosure, always
prepare entry with Grommets or suitable cable entry sheath-
ing

Position the back box with the printed circuit board to the left. Mark the
centre slotted key-way, then drill and plug the wall.
Caution
Do not drill holes with the end station in position. The result-
ant dust and vibration may damage the PCB components and
may invalidate warranty.

Screw a pan-head No.10 screw (Twin-fast or normal screw) in to the
plugged hole. Relocate the end station back box on the centre screw
hole, then continue to mark the two lower fixing screws. Remove the
end station, then drill and plug the two bottom holes. Continue to fix the
end station using not less than No. 10 pan head screws.

Battery

The end station has space for a 6.5 Ah (7Ah) sealed Lead Acid battery. See
Figure 3 for location.
Caution
Do not connect battery at this point.

Wiring to the Mains

The mains supply to the end station is connected via the 3 way 'Euro Type'
fuse block located to at the top right hand side of the end station rear casing.
To comply with BS4737, the supply should come from an un-switched, fused
spur unit fitted with a 3A fuse. All electrical connections should be carried
out by a qualified electrician and must comply with the current IEEE Wiring
Regulations: 16 Edition, Appendix 5 - Standard Circuit Arrangement. Ensure
the mains supply has a proven earth, as this protects the end station against
RFI/EMC interference.
