LKS
(Lock Set) All Areas belonging to the Level set when the final
door closes and the switched lock contact changes state
from closed to open. If the lock contacts are not closed
before the final door is opened on entry to the system, then
an immediate alarm will occur. Scantronic recommend that
you fit only one lock to the system.
Notes:
a) The lock must be connected to a keypad allocated to the Level you are
programming. Use Menu 47 to allocate the keypad.
b) The system sets the exit time to infinity when you select 'Lock Set'.
SILS
(Silent Set) All Areas belonging to the Level set when the
programmed exit time expires. However, during the exit time,
the system gives no exit tone from the keypad sounders.
INST
(Instant Set) All Areas belonging to the Level set instantly
and silently after a user enters a valid access code at a
keypad (providing no faults exist). If faults exist, the keypad
gives an error tone and the system displays 'Setting Stopped
XX Faults'.

43-LEVEL ENT TIME

Use this menu to set the entry time for each Level. Each Level can have its
own entry time, between 1 and 120 seconds.

44-FLEX ZONES

Use this menu to assign Flexi-Zones. A Flexi-Zone can be programmed to
behave as one of the following zone types in each of the four Levels:
FE = Final Exit
ER = Entry Route
NA = Normal Alarm
NU = Not Used
You can assign up to four Flexi-Zones to each Level. The system treats any
Flexi-Zone that you do not assign as Normal Alarm zone.
To assign a Flexi-Zone to a Level you must first:
a)
Assign the zone type FL using Menu 32.
b)
Allocate the zone to an Area using Menu 32.
c)
Allocate the Area to a Level using Menu 41.
d)
Allocate one of the Flexi-Zone types (FE, ER , NA or NU) to each
Level using Menu 44.
