When you have completed programming the system, there are a number of
Menu options to help you test the operation of the system and check that the
installation has been installed to the specification.
You can select these Menu options with the end station lid open. However,
before performing any functional tests, make sure that all zone wiring is
completed, all anti-tamper devices (except the panel lid tamper) are closed
and all outputs, auxiliary power and battery connections are made.
The options available let you:
• See which version of software the panel contains.
• Carry out various tests.on zones and power supplies.
• Set up the printer for reporting.

Panel Version Number (Menu 01)

To see which revision of software the panel contains:
1. Select Menu 00 and press the down arrow key.
The display shows:
2. Press Enter.
The display shows (for example):

The first line is the software version number. The second line is the
date of the software issue.
3. Press Enter to leave Menu 01.

Test Options (Menu 04)

To Select a Test:

1. Select Menu 00 and press down arrow until the display shows "04-
TEST OPTIONS".
2. Press Enter.
The display shows:
3. Use the left or right arrow keys to toggle between Walk Test or Test
Outputs.
4. Press Enter to select the test, then proceed to the appropriate section
on the following pages.
