Walk Test

Note: If a zone is already violated, you must close it before carrying out the walk test.
The display shows the first available loops
to be tested (Zone and Tamper). For example:
1.
Open and close the alarm and tamper circuits for each zone.
The zone and tamper numbers disappear from the display as you test
each circuit, and the internal sounder gives a chime.
2.
Use the left or right arrow keys to see zones not shown on the display
When the walk test is complete,
the display shows:
If a printer is connected, the system prints test particulars as you test each
zone and tamper. At the end of the test, the printout confirms 'All Loops
Tested OK'. (See "6. Testing - Printer Options").
3.
Press Menu to return to the WALK TEST display.
4.
Use the left or right arrow keys to select the 'Test Outputs' menu.

Output Test

The display shows
If a bell is connected and programmed correctly it should sound.
1.
Press the up or down arrow keys to test the next output.
The bell should go quiet and the system activate the next programmed
output. Outputs programmed as 'Not Used' will not be offered. If the
output is connected to a sounder or strobe you may hear or see the
output activate the device.
2.
Press the up or down arrow keys to test the Internal sounder and the
keypad sounder.
3.
Continue to test other outputs using the up and down arrow keys.
4.
Press Menu to quit the test and return to 'Test Outputs.
Note: If a printer is fitted, the system will print output test particulars as each output is
energised for the first time.
