Shielding gas supply (shielding gas cylinder for welding machine)
5.8.1

Connection

Place the shielding gas cylinder into the relevant cylinder bracket.
•
Secure the shielding gas cylinder using a securing chain.
•
Tighten the pressure regulator screw connection on the gas bottle valve to be gas-tight.
•
Screw the gas hose (intermediate hose package) to the pressure regulator ensuring that it is gas tight.
5.8.2

Gas test

•
Slowly open the gas cylinder valve.
•
Open the pressure regulator.
•
Switch on the power source at the main switch.
•
Initiate gas test function on the machine control.
•
Set the relevant gas quantity for the application on the pressure regulator.
•
The gas test is triggered on the machine control by pressing the
Shielding gas flows for around 25 seconds or until the button is pressed again.
