Traps are used by the IP Camera to send messages to a management system for important events or
status changes.
•
Enabling Traps
Check the box to activate trap reporting.
•
Trap address
Enter the IP address of the management server.
•
Trap community
Enter the community to use when sending a trap message to the management system.
Trap Option

Warm Start
A Warm Start SNMP trap signifies that the SNMP device, i.e. IP Camera, performs software reload.
Click on <Save> button when complete.

The UPnP setting can be found under this path: System> Network> UPnP.

Enabling UPnP
When the UPnP is enabled, whenever the IP Camera is presented to the LAN, the icon of the
connected IP Cameras will appear in My Network Places to allow for direct access.
To enable this function, please make sure the UPnP component is installed on your
computer. Please refer to Install UPnP components for UPnP component installation
procedure.
