Formatting
Formatting allows data to be written to the card. A new CompactFlash
card must be formatted before it can be used in the printer.
Formatting destroys any existing data on the CompactFlash card.
Note
To format a CompactFlash card, proceed as follows.

Press the MENU key.

Press the
Memory Card

Press the > key.

Press the
>Format

Press the ENTER key. A question mark (?) appears.
>Format ?

Press the ENTER key. Processing appears and formatting of the
CompactFlash card starts.
If you want to abandon formatting, press the CANCEL key.
