4.1
GENERAL
This section gives detailed procedures for removing and replacing field replaceable units
(FRUs).

The following points must be kept in mind:
1.
The system should never be disassembled unless there is a problem (abnonnal
operation, etc.).
2.
Only quality tools should be used.
3.
Keep the system free of dust and moisture.
4.
The system is made of delicate electric components that are extremely sensitive to
static electricity.
5.
Whether using the system or storing it, the environment should be free of extreme
heat, cold, or humidity.
6.
After deciding the purpose of replacing the unit and the procedures required, do not
perfonn any other procedures which are not absolutely necessary.
7.
Be sure to turn the POWER switch off before beginning, and disconnect the AC
adapter and all external cables from the system.
