REMOVING/REPLACING THE
IfF UNIT AND SYSTEM BOARD
1.
Remove the RTC battery. FDD unit, and HDD pack from the system unit as directed
in Sections 4.2 and 4.8.
2. Remove the two screws (M3x6) (A) and remove the HDD bracket (B) from the
system unit.
3.
Release the I/F unit (FPC FIEFC4)

from PJ1 and PJ2 (D) located on the system
board.
4. Remove the two screws (M3x6 silver) (E) and remove the IfF unit from the system
unit.

After removing the one screw (M3x6 silver) (F), disconnect the HDD I/F cable (PCB
FIEHFl) (G) from PJ12 (H) located on the system board.
