Lens Options, Hardware And Software Features

MOBOTIX currently offers five standard lenses with M14 thread for the D14D that can all be
combined with a day or night sensor (color or black and white). Since MOBOTIX cameras
are backlight-proof, none of these lenses requires a mechanical auto iris, thus making
the camera extremely robust and maintenance-free.
The L22 Super Wide Angle lens has very little distortion and delivers good image quality,
even when using the maximum digital zoom. If the D14D has been mounted in the corner
of a room with this lens, the complete room is visible on the image.
In the case of the special model D14D 180°, two L22 lenses are installed in such a way that
the camera can optically combine the two 90° images using software to form a single
large and corrected 180° panorama image.
D14D With Standard Lenses And M14 Thread
A total of five different MOBOTIX lenses are offered for every sensor unit:
L22 Super Wide Angle with 90° image angle (horizontal)
L32 Wide Angle with 60° image angle (horizontal)
L43 Wide Angle with 45° image angle (horizontal)
L65 Telephoto with 31° image angle (horizontal)
L135 Telephoto with 15° image angle (horizontal)
This results in a total of 15 possible lens combinations for a D14D (L22/L22 to L135/L135).
