09-6. Adiusting the rotation speed of the main blade
This seclion descr bes how io adjust the rotation speed of the main blade by
adjusung the main blade pitch.
With the S.R.B., you can check the rotalion speed of the rnain blade while
hovering by looking at the LED display.
Confirm thai the approprlate rotation speed has been reached before
adjusUng.
The rotation speed of the S.R.B. s main blade while hovering is around 1,800
to 1,900 rpm. The LED w ll lurn red once the speed is within this range.
IProcedures]
O Turn on the power oi the transmitter.
@ Place the Lrnit on a flat surface, and turn on the power switch. Do not move
the unit unti the flashlng green LED turns to a solid green.
O Press the slart switch (with the transmitter throttle stick at the lowest
posilion). Ho d the un t in your hand and gently increase the throtlle speed
uniil hovering speed is feached and a rotation speed, where the unil is just
ab e io ift iiself, is reached.
When the rotation speed is righli
hl up. -
This indicates the right rotation speed has
been reached, and there is no problem.
Check the rciation speed with
li lhe red LED does not come on even though the hovering speed has been
reached, slop the unit and adjust the pitch angle adjustment screws of the
lwo main blades by turning each of them by the same number of rotations.

When the rotation speed is too high:

Use the Philips screwdriver.

aDo not turn the pitch angle
adjustment screws too tight. lf
you do, you can damage their
threads. Moreovei please note
that they are fixed with a
special kind of nut known as a
Iock nut so that they cannot be
disassembled.
