14-4. Adiusting the gyro sensilivily
' The gyro is adjusted to the righi sensiUvlty level when the flying unit is
sh pped lrom the factory.
By switching to the gyro sensiiivity adjustmeni mode, il is possible to adjust
the sensitvlty of ihe rudder gyro.
When the sensitivly oi the gyro is high, lhe ta I will vibrate slighty back and
forth. a phenomenon
known as "hunting".
On the other hand, when the sensitiviiy is low, the tail hovering will be
du led.
IProcedures]
O Tufn the transmitier power on.
@ Place the unit on a flat surface, and press the power switch- Do not
move the unii uniil the ilashing green LED turns to a conslant green.
@ Press the start swiich (with lhe transmltter's throttle stck at the lowesi
setting).
@ After disengaging the safety device, again press the start switch while
keeping the throttle stick oi ihe transmitler al the slowest position.
OThe tone of the motor will rise, and the red LED will begin to flash,
indicating the unil is now in the gyro sensitvty adjustment mode.
@ Once in the gyro sensilivity adjustment mode, the RUD ATt adjustment
volume becomes the gyro sensitivity adjuslment volume. Fly the unit,
and adjusi the sensitivity until il is just short of causing ihe tail to start
"hunling".
OAlter adjusting the vollme, it is necessary to save the gyro
seltings- Hold down the slart swlch, and press the power
three seconds to turn off the power.
@The next time you lurn the power on, the adjustment function of the RUD
ATT adjustment volume reverts to jts normal function, so either feturn the
RUD ATT adjustment volume to its origjnal posllion or carry out the
adjustmenl again.
