This operation will restore all fax settings to their factory default values.
This operations configures your fax machine for optimal compatibility with other
fax machines.
Specify the name of the fax in the printer.
Specify the number assigned to the fax.
Specify how the fax is identified.
Set the printer to fax manually, which requires a line splitter and a telephone
handset.
Notes:
•
Off is the factory default setting.
•
Use a regular telephone to answer an incoming fax job and to dial a fax
number.
•
Press # 0 on the numeric keypad to go directly to the Manual Fax function.
Define the allocation of non-volatile memory between sending and receiving fax
jobs.
Notes:
•
"Equal" is the factory default setting. This splits the memory for sending and
receiving fax jobs into equal amounts.
•
"Mostly send" specifies that most of the memory is set to send fax jobs.
•
"All send" specifies that all the memory is set to send fax jobs.
•
"All receive" specifies that all the memory is set to receive fax jobs.
•
"Mostly receive" specifies that most of the memory is set to receive fax jobs.
