REMOVING THE HOT START RELAY
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1. Unplug air conditioner or disconnect power.
2. Remove the front cover from the unit (see
page 2-11 for the procedure).
3. Lower the control chassis to access the
components (see page 4-2 for the proce-
dure).

4. To remove the hot start relay:
a) Disconnect the wires from the relay
terminals.
b) Remove the two hex-head screws from
the relay and remove it.

5. To remove the hot start sensor:
a) Disconnect the wires from the sensor
terminals.
b) Remove the two hex-head screws from
the sensor and remove it.
