    Recommended grounding method For your personal safety, this appliance must be grounded. This air conditioner is equipped with a power supply cord with a 3-prong grounding plug. To minimize possible electrical shock hazard, the cord must be plugged into a mating 3-prong grounding-type wall receptacle, grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
  • Page 26 Handle the air conditioner with care. Watch out for the sharp metal fins on the front and rear coils. Remove air conditioner from carton and place on cardboard. Remove ground screw (A) and ground wire (B) from front of air conditioner base. Save ground screw.
  • Page 27 continued from page 5 Use final measurement to measure in from each edge of the filler board and mark lines (G). Use a utility knife to cut filler boards to size at the lines. Make cut so the outside edges of filler boards will have screw holes (H).

This seal strip fits between the air conditioner base and the cabinet. Attach vertical supports (U) to angle supports (V) using bolts (W), flat washers (X), lock washers (Y) and nuts (Z).

It is the customer's responsibility and obligation to have this product installed by a qualified technician familiar with through-the- wall room air conditioner installations. When using a wood, metal or plastic molding , the finish frame (B) should line up with inside wall (C) as shown.
