The desk control unit allows the air conditioner
to be turned off and on from a remote location.
The unit consists of a pair of switches that are
controlled by a 24-volt relay.
When the desk control switch is closed, the 24-
volt supply is applied to the relay coil,the con-
tacts open, and the air conditioner will not

The main power supply is wired in series through
the relay contacts. When the desk control
switch is open, the 24-volt supply is removed
from the relay coil, the contacts are closed, and
the air conditioner will operate.
