Write down your the current IP address of your computer and its subnet mask below.
You will need to restore these settings to the computer later.
If an IP address automatically has been selected, make a note of that. If not, write down
the following:

Change the IP address of the computer temporarily so that it can communicate with the
PCS4.

Plug one end of a Category 5, 6, or 6E Ethernet crossover cable into the Ethernet (LAN)
connector on the PCS4 rear panel (see
and Rear Panel" section for information on the RJ-45 LAN connector wiring). Plug the
other end of the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the computer.
NOTE:
If you are using a network hub or switch between the computer and the
PCS4, use a straight-through Category 5 cable instead of a crossover cable.
