Upon contact with an object, they are reflected back to the scanner. The distance from the scanner to the object is accurately determined by measuring the phase shifts in the waves of the infrared light.

    Following safety measures must be followed when working with the PowerBlock battery: • Only use the charger recommended by FARO to charge the battery. • Do not charge or discharge damaged batteries. • Do not charge the battery in the Focus X 130 when it is stored in the transport case.

    Observe the following safety measures when working with the FARO PowerDock battery charger: • Do not charge any batteries other than the FARO PowerBlock batteries in the FARO PowerBlock charger. • Regularly check plug, cord and the charger itself.
