Dividing a Title ("Title Dividing")
Read "Guide to Edit Menu Screen" on page 54 first.

Play the title up to the point where you want to
divide.
• You can use [PLAY B], [SKIP H], [SKIP G],
[REV E], [FWD D], [PAUSE F] as usual.

When it comes to the point, press [ENTER\OK].
• The title is divided into two new titles with the same title
names.
• Writing onto the disc starts. It may take awhile to write
the data on a disc.
Note
• You cannot divide a title when the number of titles in the disc
is already at its maximum. Refer to page 28 for the
maximum recordable numbers of titles / chapters.
Deleting Parts of a Title ("Scene Delete")
Read "Guide to Edit Menu Screen" on page 54 first.

Select "Scene Delete" using [K \ L], then press
[ENTER\OK].

Use [SKIP H \ G], [REV E], [FWD D], [B]
and [PAUSE F] to find the start point, then
press [ENTER\OK].
Then use [SKIP H \ G], [REV E], [FWD D],
[B] and [PAUSE F] again to move to the end
point, and press [ENTER\OK].
The cursor will move to "Preview".
The bar at the bottom of the screen indicates the total and
the elapsed time of the title, and the area selected for
deletion is indicated in red.
You can check the preview by pressing [ENTER\OK].
• Before and after 5 seconds of the deleted point will be
playback for preview.

Select "Delete" using [K \ L], then press
[ENTER\OK].

Select "Yes" using [K \ L], then press
[ENTER\OK].
• "Are you sure?" will appear.
Select "Yes" using [K \ L], and then press [ENTER\OK].
The part of the title is deleted.

Press [RETURN\BACK] to exit.
Note
• You cannot delete parts of a title when the number of
chapters for the title is already at its maximum. Refer to page
28 for the maximum recordable numbers of titles / chapters.

Deleting a Title
Preparation:
• Make sure the correct component mode (HDD/DISC) is
selected.

In stop mode, press [TOP MENU].

Select the desired title, then press [ENTER\OK].

Select "Title Delete", then press [ENTER\OK].
• The title is deleted.

Press [TOP MENU] to exit.
Deleting Multiple Titles at Once
Preparation:
• Make sure the correct component mode (HDD/DISC) is
selected.

In stop mode, press [TOP MENU].

Select one of the titles you want to delete, then
press [ENTER\OK].

Select "Delete Multiple Titles", then press
[ENTER\OK].

Select other title you want to delete, then press
[ENTER\OK]. Repeat this step until you select
all the titles you want to delete.
To deselect the title:
Highlight the title to deselect, then press [ENTER\OK].

Press [Blue].
The selected title will be
marked with ✔.
