11. TROUBLESHOOTING Problem No power. Check the AC power cord, if it is properly connected. Try another power outlet. Unplug the AC power cord, and wait for about 5-10 seconds. 16. GLOSSARY AACS Digital Audio Advanced Access Content System (AACS) is the content An indirect representation of sound by numbers. During protection scheme used with Blu-ray discs. recording, the sound is measured at discrete intervals (44,100 times a second for CD audio) by an Analog Audio analog-to-digital converter, generating a stream of numbers. - Page 49 PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) The most common system of encoding digital audio, found on CD and DAT. Excellent quality, but requires a lot of data compared to formats such as Dolby Digital and MPEG audio.
