During playback, press [FWD D] or [REV E].
Fast forward or fast reverse playback across titles /
files (tracks) is not possible.
• For Blu-ray Disc™, DVD and AVCHD, speed changes in
5 different levels.
• For audio CDs and DivX
3 different levels.
• To return to playback at normal speed, press [PLAY B].
• Picture quality of DivX
that in fast forward.

• For some DivX files, Fast forward/Fast reverse may not
function.

During playback, you can skip forward or backward by the
amount of time you set in the "Playback" menu. To set the time
amount, refer to "Variable Skip/Replay" on page 62.
During playback, press [V.SKIP P] if you want to skip
forward. Press [V. REPLAY O] if you want to skip
backward.

During playback, press [PAUSE F].
2 Press [SKIP H \ G] repeatedly.
Each time you press [SKIP G], playback will go forward
one frame (or step) at a time with the sound muted.
To go backward one frame (or step), press [SKIP H].

• Only step by step forward is available when playing back
BD-RE/-R or AVCHD / DivX

approximate speed changes in 3 different levels. (The
sound will remain muted.)
To return to normal playback, press [PLAY B].
Note
• For the titles recorded in the TS mode, approximate slow
forward speed is fixed at 1/3x, and approximate slow reverse
speed is fixed at 1/4x.
• For some DivX ® files, slow forward may not function.
• Only slow forward is available when playing back BD-RE/-R
or AVCHD / DivX ® files.
