9 Enter the IP address for the printer server (192.0.0.194) in the
Printer Name or IP Address field. The Port Name field will
generate automatically.
10 In the Device Type field, choose from the drop down menu
Network Print Server (1 Port). There are two listings. Choose the
first listing.
11 Click Finish.
12 Select the General tab and click on Print Test Page. Wait a few
minutes and the Windows banner page will print. This verifies that
the driver works, the network address is correct and a printer "port"
has been established.
13 Click on OK to close the Properties window.
For Windows NT4.0 systems:
1 Insert the CADJET 3D System CD #1 and follow the onscreen
instructions to install the Windows driver.
2 Choose My Computer.
3 Choose LPT1.
4 Choose ENCAD under Manufacturers: and CADJET3D under
Printers: Keep Existing Driver if prompted.
5 Leave the printer name as it comes up – "CJ3D". Do not set it as
your default printer.
6 Choose NOT SHARED. Do not print a test page at this time.
