Pause Time

Some overseas dialing may not be successful due to the distance or complex routing of
connections when dialing the international access code, country code, and the destination
number all together. In such cases, insert a pause after the international access code. The
machine then dials the number with a short waiting time where the pause has been inserted,
which helps to improve the connection.
NOTE
• You can insert a pause on the screen where you specify the fax number. (See "Numeric Keys," on p.
2-16.)
• Pauses entered at the end of dialed fax numbers are always 10 seconds long.
• The default setting is '4' seconds.
