Communications Settings
This section describes settings that the System Manager can make, including the send start
speed, reception speed, and RX mode. It also describes how to set, change, and erase settings
for transferring received documents.
Communications Settings is a mode in Additional Functions. For instruction on setting the
modes in Additional Functions, see "What are Additional Functions?," on p. 5-2.
Send Start Speed
This function enables you to change the send start speed when it takes too much time to start
sending a document.
NOTE
The default setting is '33600 bps'.

Select the desired Send Start Speed
If your document transmission is slow in starting, this may mean that the telephone lines in your
area are in poor condition. Select a slower speed. You can select [33600 bps], [14400 bps],
[9600 bps], [7200 bps], [4800 bps], or [2400 bps].
The selected mode is set.
